Lipton Noodle Soup with Eggs and Sriracha

Lipton Noodle Soup with Egg Drop and Sriracha

I was on my own for dinner the other night and looking to make something easy. 99 times out of 100, I would scrabble four eggs, add some sriracha and be done. The only problem was that I only had two eggs left.

I didn’t really have any frozen veggies that were appealing to me. I thought, “maybe we have some kale.” Of course we didn’t. We hadn’t been to the grocery store in a week. Did I mention the two eggs?

No, I’m not going to put my phone down.

I’m gonna ramble for a bit, but I’ll eventually make my point.

I don’t have any “Facebook” friends. I just have friends. Pretty much all of them are online. Or to say it another way; if we are friends on Facebook, it’s because I decided that I genuinely like you. We are friends.

Here’s how to transfer your Spotify playlists to Apple Music

applemusic11Here’s how to transfer your Spotify playlists to Apple Music

As you might have heard, Apple has launched their own streaming service. It’s called Apple Music. Apple is offering a free, three month trial of the service if you act soon. After that, it will cost about the same as Spotify.

I currently pay for Spotify and am a pretty big fan of the product. However, I’m finding myself becoming more of one of those “all-in” type Apple users. I just sold my Android tablet. Getting Less Done – Farts

Pernicious Time Suck: How to add fart noises to a sound notification option in an Adobe Air app?

I was curious this morning about how to add custom sounds to an Adobe Air app built for Yammer. Invoking the art of GLD (Getting Less Done), I stopped all productive work & began to peruse the forums over at Adobe’s website.

What I learned:

  • I wish I knew the basics of coding.
  • Adobe Flash Builder 4 is impressive watch this >> (too bad it’s flash)
  • I can live without customized sound notifications on Yammer, but damn it would be cool.

Time wasted: 20 minutes (not including the hilarity that ensued discussing GLD w/my colleagues)
Accomplished: Nothing
